Ingredients:
- 1 stick of butter
- 4 tbsp finely chopped yellow onion
- 4 tbsp finely chopped garlic
- Juice from 1 large lemon
- 4 tbsp dry white wine
- Kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 4 tbsp cold butter
Directions:
- Melt butter over low heat, add onion and garlic, and saute until transparent. Add lemon juice and white wine, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Simmer 2 to 3 minutes to reduce liquid.
- Remove from heat and swirl in cold butter until sauce is smooth and emulsified.
Note: Lemon butter sauce taste good and can be served with any fish
